[poedit-users] DB_RUNRECOVERY with TM

Dear poEdit Users,

   I'm  a  new  user to poEdit, but I already have a little problem. I
   searched  for  the  cause  for  this  problem,  tried  to track it,
   searched the mailing list, but I couldn't find any solution.

   When  configuring  poEdit  and  setting  up the Translation Manager
   (TM),  I  added both English and Portuguese languages, selected the
   folders  with  PO  and  MO  files,  and  then  clicked  on Generate
   Database. The PO and MO files are scanned, but just as the scanning
   ends, the progress meter stops (at 100%), and a message pops-up:

   "Database error: DB_RUNRECOVERY: Fatal error, run database
   recovery"

   I  click  on  OK,  the  message disappears, and the progress bar is
   still  there, showing the last scanned file, and the Cancel button.
   Clicking  on Cancel just grays out the button, and poEdit just sits
   there.  Any  click  on poEdit and I get the "Ding" sound, like when
   I'm  trying  to  click  on an inactive window (i.e.:, as if there's
   another  one  which I must close first). After this, poEdit must be
   killed   manually   (although  <CTRL><ALT><DEL>  shows  it  running
   normally).

   I  tried  excluding/including  PO and MO files to try and track the
   problem to a specific file, but it makes no difference. The problem
   happens  as  soon  as  the  last  file  is  scanned. No matter what
   language, PT or EN.

   However, the databases for the TM are generated anyway.

   But  if I go back to poEdit and try to use it, the same error keeps
   popping-up.  Same  message,  but  with a window displaying the same
   error occurring repeatedly. This time it doesn't jam, though. Click
   OK,  the message is gone, and I can go back to poEdit. But then the
   message pops-up again when I click on an item to translate.

   If I erase the database files from the shared\tm folder, then the
   error stops. So I can actually use poEdit, but not the TM. So, the
   problem must be somewhere when the TM is accessed/used.

   Was I clear enough? Can someone offer any light on the subject?

   My system:

   Pentium II MMX 233Mhz
   192Mb RAM
   MB: ASUS P2L97/S
   OS: Windows 98SE, in Portuguese
   Microsoft Layer for Unicode 1.1.3790.0
