[poedit-users] Chinese in poedit

Hello everyone,
I have poedit 1.3.3. I use the catalog for generating the .po file,
translating strings from English to other languages.
For European languages, eveything works fine.
I have the English string on one side of the catalog and the corresponding
Xlated string on the other side.

My problem is that I am not able to see Chinese string in the catalog.
I use WORD to translate the English string to other language. Here, I get
the translated Chinese string. But when I put it in the catalog, It comes up
as junk..

How do I get around this problem. Should I continue to translate english
strings and put them in the catalog even though I am not able to see them,
and generate the .mo file.
Do I have to install something else for seeing the chinese strings?

This is the first time I am trying non Europen languages, and I am stumped.

I really appreciate any help in this.
