I think I don't follow you; even if you open a second instance, poEdit
will only look for whole entries, not specific expressions, right?

I mean, If I have to translate the sentence: "Backup failed: could not
create temporary backup in %s", I can look for whole sentences that are
similar to it, but I can't select the word "backup" and check how it was
previously translated, even in sentences dissimilar to the current one,
right?
