If the OS function used to set the locale fails to set this locale,  
then it is *not* supported. Poedit doesn't have some whitelist of  
supported locales, that would be stupid. If you believe this is  
incorrect, please point me to the relevant documentation, do some  
debugging, or buy me a copy of Vista with Amharic support. But I need  
*something* to be able to fix this, and just a claim that it doesn't  
work even though it obviously should is not that.

Sorry, what are you talking about? Bookmarks symbols *in front* of  
English strings? If yes, then it's probably incorrect translation that  
assigns wrong accelerators to these menu entries.
