Hi Folks,

I'm using poEdit 1.3.9 on Windows XP.

I don't have a 100% foolproof reproduction recipe, but I try to explain
what I was doing. I'm editing a .po file with about 1000 phrases and
roughly 4000 lines.

Please switch on line numbers. This may help to spot the problem.

If you update the .po file from a .pot file, the line numbers will
change to a higher value (some line offset).

When you save the file, the line numbers will revert to the previous
value again.

In my case the line number of the first untranslated string changes from
1413 to 2821 and then back to 1413 again.

This does not look bad at first, but something goes wrong internally -
and this is where I'm not sure what exactly happens.

- - The msgstr of the line under the cursor is saved (copied) to a
different msgid (perhaps just the line offset observed)

- - This doesn't happen all the time. It always catches me by surprise. I
think it happens, when the cursor is on a fuzzy translation, but I'm not
100% sure.

Cheers
- - Lübbe
