-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi Vaclav, I can reproduce the bug now when updating from a .pot file. If you have svn or tortoisesvn installed, check out the folder <http://tortoisesvn.tigris.org/svn/tortoisesvn/trunk/Languages/> from the repostiory. user: guest, no password If not, just save Tortoise_de.po and Tortoise.pot to your local disk Open Tortoise_de.po in poedit and update from tortoise.pot. You will see one changed message and get a warning about "\r\n" sequences. After merging the file, the changed message will neither appear in the untranslated, nor in the fuzzy section. It will show up in the translated section. If you take a close look, you'll see that the msgstr is " " (a single blank) which is the msgstr of the first line in the .po file, the file on which your cursor was standing when you ran "update from .pot". If you move your cursor once before running update from .pot, everything works as expected. This is exactly the behaviour that I observed so far. The msgid content of the cursor line is copied to another line of the .po file. In this case it's easy to see, because it is the one line that was changed by the update.
