[poedit-users] plural functions other than ngettext()

Hello!

I'd like to be able to use this little short-hand:
function _n( $msgid1, $msgid2, $n )   {
        return sprintf( ngettext( $msgid1, $msgid2, $n ) , $n );
}
but PoEdit doesn't provide a possibility to add plural functions yet
as Vaclav has remarked in an answer to another user, who wanted to
implement php-gettext's __ngettext().

I'm not familiar with command line apps at all and I was only able to
grasp the gettext concept with PoEdit's help, so I wanted to humbly
ask you to implement this feature or explain how I change the
xgettext keywordspec that PoEdit uses.
I did look it up in the xgettext documentation, but if it is supposed
to work with PoEdit, I can't think of a way to make it work.. Do I
have to edit the xgettext files in the PoEdit package? How?

Thanks for any pointers or even fixes!
Ruben

PS.: Is there an online manual for PoEdit? I had to gather
information from various sources via Google when I had a (admittedly
stupid) issue with the path specification and the help inside the Mac
OS X version does not seem to work..?
