Have not seen any way poEdit (v1.39) allows user to enter a comment which identifies that the string does NOT have a c-format, such as does "%d errors found". Tried using poEdit Edit comment entering xgettext:no-c-format but this created # xgettext:no-c-format Using Emacs or Wordpad, entering the comment as below would fix the problem, but translators are using poEdit. #, no-c-format msgid "% Stenosis" msgstr "% stenose" Granted the fault may lie with gettext to misconstrue the above example as something like "%s tenosis", but will poEdit users be able to fix these by editing comments ? This subject of % in string was posted by Tai in April and was not addressed as a c-format issue.
