That would be a big help already.

How about a 'flexible' checker plugin architecture, where I could define
a sequence of commands. The requisit of poedit would be that the result
looks like:
linenumber: message

Example 1:
'msgfmt --check-accelerators %pofile | grep "someregex"'
123: msgstr lacks the keyboard accelerator mark '&'
4567: msgstr lacks the keyboard accelerator mark '&'

Example 2:
'mypersonalsanitychecker %pofile'
555: inconsistent newlines
666: inconsistent parameter string
