Hi:

I am new to Poedit and this is the first time I have tried to
compile poedit.

I sucessfully downloaded and installed the wxWindows for GTK2.

I downloaded Poedit from the CVS and the README file said do:

./configure
make
make install

But there was no ./configure file in the main directory.

So I ran autogen.sh and got the following errors:

[[email protected] poedit]# ./autogen.sh
aclocal: configure.in: 22: macro `AM_OPTIONS_WXCONFIG' not found
in library
aclocal: configure.in: 65: macro `AM_PATH_WXCONFIG' not found in

configure.in:20: no proper implementation of AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE was
found,
configure.in:20: probably because aclocal.m4 is missing...
configure.in:20: You should run aclocal to create this file,
then
configure.in:20: run automake again.

Would anyone know a way that I can get this thing compiled?

I have been told that there we issues related to autogen somewhile
back, but not sure what it was or whether it has been corrected.

Thanks in advance.
