AFAIK this can only happen in case pollo couldn't load the
configuration, in which case you should first have seen a message like
"Could not read configuration file, but will continue to startup
anyway". This in itself is usually caused by an invalid configuration
file, which in turn is usually caused by interrupting the pollo process
while it was writing its configuration file.

I don't understand what you're saying or asking here. You don't need ant
nor eclipse to run pollo.
