It is a file called ".pollorc", located in your home directory. The
"home directory" depends on the operating system, if I remember well in
Windows it is something like c:\documents and
settings\username\.pollorc, but I'm not sure.

Anyway, search your hard drive for that file and delete it. Pollo should
then start.

This problem is likely caused by an incorrect shutdown of pollo. If you
have any clue to how this might have happened, I'm interested to here
this. Since this is a problem that pops up from time to time, I think
it's useful to provide some more appropriate error handle here.
