I don't have access to an OS X system, so I'm not sure what could go
wrong. I'm using the bash shell, maybe OS X uses another one by default
that's not compatible.

Some possible solutions are:

* Add the following as the first line of pollo.sh:
#!/bin/bash

* split the export CLASSPATH statement into two lines:
CLASSPATH=....
export CLASSPATH

Let me know if any of these helps (and keep the mailing list in the To
field).
