Awk script single letter variable highlighting

Very minor issue.
I've been playing with some .awk scripts and noticed that when I use 
certain letters (x, s, q, m, n) as variables, there is unwanted 
highlighting. Apparently, this is because awk uses the same highlighting as 
perl and those letters are special in perl. Not a big problem because I can 
always use the other 21 letters as variables or use two letters instead of 
one.
I'm just passing on the info for those interested.
