SciTE 5.5.9 is now available from the scintilla.org web site. It uses Lexilla 5.4.7 and Scintilla 5.5.9.

This is a feature and fix release.

Windows executable releases are now signed with "Open Source Developer, Neil Hodgson". This should help with avoiding system warnings.

There were improvements for Errorlist, Makefile, Perl, and Progress languages.

On Windows, window border fixed after restore from full screen to not have 3D effect.

The background colour used just after the line end is changed to not use the last style on line unless the eolfilled attribute is set.

A C++20 compiler is needed to build SciTE.

A detailed list of changes is available on the history page.

hg clone http://hg.code.sf.net/p/scintilla/scite

There will be a commercial macOS release of SciTE shortly.

Thanks to the contributors of code and documentation and to the testers.

   Neil
