Hello experts,
I have a security script which track he IPs of a whole network, but
unfortunately the "discover" is very slow...
Lucky who can use nmap with:
--[ command 'nmap -sP 192.168.0.0/24' ]---------------------------------
Starting Nmap 5.00 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2012-08-18 18:38 CEST
Host gateway.intranet1.tamay-dogan.net (192.168.0.1) is up (0.00050s latency).
MAC Address: 00:1C:28:53:52:BE (Sphairon Access Systems GmbH)
Host easybox-o2.intranet1.tamay-dogan.net (192.168.0.2) is up (0.00096s latency).

Host dns.intranet1.tamay-dogan.net (192.168.0.11) is up (0.00027s latency).

Host samba.intranet1.tamay-dogan.net (192.168.0.12) is up (0.00028s latency).

Host work1.intranet1.tamay-dogan.net (192.168.0.13) is up.
Host asterisk.intranet1.tamay-dogan.net (192.168.0.16) is up (0.00020s latency).

Host cups.intranet1.tamay-dogan.net (192.168.0.50) is up (0.00021s latency).
MAC Address: 00:11:25:3E:4E:5C (IBM)
Host storage000.tdcloud.net (192.168.0.140) is up (0.00013s latency).
MAC Address: 00:11:25:19:4A:24 (IBM)
Host storage001.tdcloud.net (192.168.0.141) is up (0.00011s latency).

Host 192.168.0.253 is up (0.30s latency).
MAC Address: 00:0D:54:88:71:40 (3Com)
Nmap done: 256 IP addresses (12 hosts up) scanned in 2.68 seconds
------------------------------------------------------------------------
which is arround 80 times faster then singel IP discovery.
Now I have the problem, that I need each "^Host " line together with its
corresponding "^MAC Address: " line to read it more easily from a script
Can someone help me out please?
Thanks, Greetings and nice Day/Evening
