Dear Liza, thanks for your hard work on this. As usual, I teach TeXmacs
during the last two lectures in my course "Text editors for future math
teachers" at the University of Linz. Meanwhile I learned that the Ubuntu
versions are outdated here:
https://www.texmacs.org/tmweb/download/linux-packages.en.html#ubuntu
Also, the AppImage bundle cannot be run on Ubuntu 24.04, it gives the
following error:
texmacs.bin: symbol lookup error:
/tmp/.mount_TeXmacN2gU5q/usr/bin/../lib/libcrypt.so.1: undefined symbol:
__snprintf, version GLIBC_PRIVATE
I consider Ubuntu 24.04 as a possible de facto Linux standard, so this
should be a real problem.

The page https://www.texmacs.org/builds/ offers working binaries, that's
fine, but the page is only in French and not available from the main
webpage of TeXmacs. Maybe you want to fix these issues someday.
