Dear Fan Jiang, thanks for the precision. In this case I guess that Qt6 (along with a recent macOS SDK) behaves differently from Qt5, that used for the current stable version of TeXmacs. Similarly to other keyboards and other applications, it is expected that this kind of input method overrides TeXmacs shortcuts. In particular the TeXmacs shortcuts Alt-1, Alt-2 are not expected to work. Of course, one may always use the 'Escape' key equivalent shortcuts: Esc Esc 1, Esc Esc 2, etc. See section "Keyboard configuration" of the manual. In addition, key bindings can be customized; see section "Creating your own keyboard shortcuts" of the manual. By the way, I've noticed a few issues when using this Unicode Hex Input within this beta version of TeXmacs, so I will investigate. Best regards, Grégoire.
