Hi Liza,

FYI, I build against the latest commit on Linux myself, but most of plugins fail
to launch the managed program, e.g. the one for julia
[https://github.com/mgubi/tm-julia].

Best,
Hammer

Subject: [texmacs-users] New testing versions of TeXmacs based on the current SVN version

Hello everyone,

We have a new nightly build of TeXmacs for Windows and Mac available at:
https://ftp.texmacs.org/TeXmacs/dev/testing/20241030/

What's new?

 * *Improved High-DPI Support:* TeXmacs now offers better high-DPI
support. The entire interface and documents appear much sharper on
high-DPI screens. You can move your TeXmacs windows across screens
with different DPIs, and they will automatically adapt. (This also
means that the Retina/high-DPI settings have been removed in this
   version).
 * *Linux Compatibility:* This improved high-DPI support is also coming
to Linux, but for now, it’s only available on Wayland. I’ll publish
   a nightly Linux package soon.
 * *TeXmacs can now be installed on Windows without administrator
privileges*. If you want to update an existing TeXmacs installation
without administrator privileges, you'll first need to uninstall the
previous version, as installing TeXmacs without administrator
   privileges changes the installation location.
 * *Bug Fixes on Windows:* We fixed issues related to opening links and
   previewing PDF files.

Your feedbacks are always welcome!

Best regards,
Liza
