pb with a shortcut with « var  »

hello

the shortcut abcd works very fine
but hhh.[tab] doesn't
i was thinking maybe the fact of pressing tab after a « go-to-previous » was difficult to deal with for TeXmacs but why in this cas does hhh.b works very fin ?
i confess i don’t understand there
