Index problem (é, è, etc.)

J'ai créé un document tm style "livre" (fichier maître) avec des chapitres (fichiers esclaves).
J'ai inséré un index qui fonctionne très bien (comme d'habitude). Malheureusement, l'ordre alphabétique n'est pas respecté au sens latin du terme : j'ai un problème avec les mots commençant par une voyelle accentuée, exemple : é, è, etc.

Est-ce un défaut du logiciel ou alors une mauvaise configuration de ma part ?

I created a "book"-style TeXmacs document (master file) with chapters (slave files).
I inserted an index, which works perfectly as usual.
Unfortunately, the alphabetical order does not follow the Latin convention: I’m having trouble with words that begin with accented vowels, such as é, è, etc.

Is this a software limitation, or could it be due to a misconfiguration on my part?
