Problem with version 2.1.5

Hi everybody,

I upgraded from TeXmacs 2.1.4 to 2.1.5 on Ubuntu 25.10, and ran into a problem.
(I'm using the repository at https://ftp.texmacs.org/TeXmacs/tmftp).

When I start TeXmacs, the screen shows up but I can't type anything
into it until I use the menu (start a table, open a new document, as
long as I used the menu).  I reinstalled 2.1.4, and I didn't
have this problem; I can start typing write away.
I thought maybe I had an odd configuration, but I erased my .TeXmacs
directory, tried 2.1.4, then erased .TeXmacs again, then tried 2.1.5.
Same result.

For now I'll stick to 2.1.4, although I can still use 2.1.5 by
simply using the menu right after I start it up.   But still, it's
odd.
