The filename I see on the window is some variation of edita<some hex numbers>
It whatever Cadence Design Entry HDL gives it, and its never the same.
My guess is the selected text is given a buffer by HDL and that is passed to the external text editor.
Would a video of gvim90 working and gvim92 not working help?
