ccjmne left a comment (vim/vim#21065) I just mean to note that this hook, just like any other hook, is only available to you locally. Even if you were to commit it to this repository somehow else, under no condition will Git ever install and register hooks without any express configuration from the user. I'm happy you found something that works for you, and were forthcoming in admitting your two blurts, but generally there are only two ways to keep sane for sure: 1. be careful. A lot more than that. 2. use GitHub's configuration to add yourself to the list of people who can't push to `master` directly.
