Hi Eric,

I have done the update from 9.8.0.0 to 9.8.0.4 in 1 step - in my RDi.INI I have:

> -vm
> plugins/com.ibm.semeru.certified.jdk.x64.windows_9.8.4.202412070822/jdk/bin/javaw

And it runs without any problem. And there is of course a JAVAW.EXE in that path.

I have also an old plugin directory there:

	com.ibm.semeru.certified.jdk.x64.windows_9.8.4.202407110822

But this seems to be "inactive".

And yes - normally I get the message to trust the updates/plugins - and you have to trust them all during the update.
