Perhaps RDI needs a splash page itemizing what's new and what's changed.
Changed defaults across releases could cause heartburn: RDi users might not
have access to, or read, the Notice to Users or its equivalent, especially
if tech support upgrades RDi without informing the PC's user.

I'd make it a Preference: "Show splash page Y/N" and reset to "Y" with each
fixpack or new release. Some fixes/changes are narrow in scope but have a
big impact--like this one.

Want to make this feature really cool? Add the ability for local comments
that persist across releases (maybe we can already do this; my copy of
"Writing RDi Plugins for Dummies" is overdue).
