Bugs item #712571, was opened at 2003-03-31 09:20 You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=445486&aid=712571&group_id=46235 Category: editor Group: 1.0 Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 8 Submitted By: Edwin Dankert (edankert) Assigned to: Edwin Dankert (edankert) Summary: Wrong encoding handling Initial Comment: The XML encoding handling is wrong, this could result in data-loss and does not allow for Chinese, Japanese and other characters. (The XML encoding currently supported is US-ASCII instead of the UTF-8 defaulted by the editor.) All encodings supported by dom4j and xerces should be handled correctly. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=445486&aid=712571&group_id=46235 ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: ValueWeb: Dedicated Hosting for just $79/mo with 500 GB of bandwidth!
