How to load a document in Explorer

I downloaded Exchanger and ran the batch file. Once the application 
(Explorer) opens, I attempted to open an XML document and didn't find a 
way to do this. The file menu only has one sub-menu (exit) and the tool 
bar icons are disabled except for the three icons to the far right. I 
consulted the help file and didn't find instructions on how to load a 
document. Please advise.
