There is no way to make free-to-use XMLmind XML Editor Personal Edition 
fully functional.

strictly validating, XML editor but it has no import (e.g. DOCX) and 
export (e.g. PDF, RTF, DOCX, ODT) capabilities whatsoever. More 
precisely, the import and export capabilities are there, but function in
