Attribute value does not show up on XML

Hi!

I am a co-op student currently using XMLMind. I recently changed the XML schema for a document to add compatibility for a new element with attributes. While the old element attributes have a dropdown menu, the new element I added to the schema does not. The new element name shows up, and the attributes can be edited in the attribute pane on the right side. Yet, the attribute themselves are not visible in the main document. Is this normal behaviour? I am trying to find out whether the dropdown menu is caused by an add-on or whether it is a default feature of XMLmind.

Here, "status" is an attribute of the "reg_bit" element. There is a drop-down menu of enumerated options. "Bit_features" is the newly added element (it is an empty element with multiple attributes). As can be seen, there is no dropdown menu associated with this new element.

Despite not showing up in the main document, the attributes of the "bit features" element can be edited using the attribute pane on the right:
[cid:[email protected]]

I am using XMLMind 6.0.0, if that is relevant.

If it will be greatly appreciated if you could point me to a right direction. Thanks in advance!
