I suppose that you mean "an Oracle *Java* *Runtime* license is included
in your product XMLmind".

No, this is not the case. This is absolutely not needed.

However a private OpenJDK Java runtime, generally latest version, is
included in our Windows and Mac distributions. Therefore you don't need
to install Java on a Windows or Mac computer running an XMLmind product.

Note that the OpenJDK Java runtime

https://jdk.java.net/21/

is identical to the Oracle Java Runtime

https://www.oracle.com/java/technologies/downloads/#java21

because it is built by Oracle itself.

Simply the licenses are very different. OpenJDK Java runtime:

GNU General Public License, version 2, *with* *the* *Classpath*
*Exception*, http://openjdk.org/legal/gplv2+ce.html

(It's the "Classpath Exception" which makes it legal for us to
distribute it with our commercial products.)

Oracle Java Runtime:

Proprietary license.
