I third that Ace, Emerald Plaza seems ideal for you especially given your Internet access needs. You will also be outside the hustle and bustle of the city as well, although Emerald City isn't exactly the country, it is more peaceful. -ND -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Richard Hamel-Smith Sent: Monday, April 05, 2004 8:04 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [cis] Travel info [email protected] wrote: > We welcome your visit to Trinidad Ace. > > I will suggest that you stay ate the "Emerald Hotel" it is close to the > University of the West Indies(where Ross works)as well as about 3 or 4 > internet cafes with high speed internet access. It is located on the eastern main road and you can get to any part of Trinidad easily from there. It is also close to Shiva's school, so you can visit to see what he's been up to. Shiva is the most enthusiastic person actually working with computers in education I've met so far. I live fairly close to the airport, so if you can get flight arrival info, I can come pick you up.
