I am looking forward to meet all of you.... very happy to have found a cheap place to stay... very happy that Richard comes to the airport... I've got a boarding pass and a return ticket.... and then I am looking in my passport.... what happens! It's EXPIRED in jun 2003 !!!! AAAAAAAAAAAARGHHHHHH !!!!! I just NEVER thought about my passport since we have some ID here in Curacao called 'sedula' which you need to have on you all the time and you can freely fly around to bonaire, st maarten, saba.... but that of course is all WITHIN the Netherlands Antilles! And Trinidad, is, obviously NOT. I am embarrassed to my toes ! No valid passport ! And it takes at least some weeks to get a new one. I am SOOOOOOO stoopid! Actually, I have a European identity card too. But that, is also expired last year june! I am SOOO sorry to have bothered all of you with this trip of mine, that has to be postponed obviously. No 'lime' whatever it is, no talking to Ross, Taran, All the Richards, Nissans, Shiva's... I am terribly angry at myself now. But, then again, all things serve some purpose, so I will probably have to face something I didn't want to face, or maybe some luck is coming my way, or what ever. I am so sorry. The trip is cancelled!
