CIS Projects

To get things moving again we need to have projects to execute.  So far
there are two official projects:

1. Computers In Primary School
2. Learning Content Management System Project

Tentatively there is a possible project in Mayaro (in conjunction with BP)
for implementation of a computer lab in the community centre.  There is also
another possible CIPS project in a Rio Claro school.  If we can get the BP
Community Centre going, we can officially have a Computers In Community
Centres project.  

Deosaran, I know you've done some work in your community in this regard.
Can you give us an update please?

I will contact BP this week and get some more information.

There is also another project I want to start which is to develop websites
for schools.  Currently the .edu.tt domain names are free for recognised
schools and TTNIC *might* provide free basic hosting.  Ross, I'm guessing
that you would like the CIS to implement some aspect of the LCMS so it might
be a good idea to collaborate a little with respect to the website project.
In any event this project needs to be thrashed out a little before it
becomes official which I'll do after my exams in july.
