I'm sorry, I forgot to explain my sudden disappearance from Trinidad on this list. The reason being I crafted a generic "departure" message for most lists, but since I am still active here I intended to write a different one. Seems it slipped my mind... So for those who don't know my news... I have now returned to the UK. This has occurred as a result of some personal circumstances. To cut a long story short my wife has never really settled in Trinidad, she was willing to continue until the end of my contract at UWI which would have been another 18 months, however, some medical problems with family here in the UK coupled with medical problems with a recent pregnancy (our first!) prompted her to return to the UK in May, I followed just over a week ago. I am please to report that the health of the baby is looking good, we have a 20 week scan on Monday coming, this should (fingers crossed) provide us with the final "all clear". So, where does this leave CIS and me? Well, since I relinquished my veto before leaving Trinidad it will have no appreciable effect on CIS. Allan was made party to my circumstances some time ago and we worked together to ensure that the changeover was minimal. He has handled the rehousing of the lab, and given his last mail has done a good job of it. I am still heavily committed to the CIS idea, although, for obvious reasons, my ands on assistance in Tinidad will be minimal (although I do intend to return at times). I have started the ball rolling on various things over here, but my first priority is to rebuild my life (we went from staying in Trinidad to Heidi leaving in 3 weeks flat, as you can imagine things are a little upside down right now). I'm here and I'm still available. Ross
