Nice, nice.

Bare machine, or bare machine with software? Hopefully this does not
end up as a Sol box (SOL box = Solitaire-playing box) in somebody's house.

We need to explore the LTSP more fully. While at some times it is
literally a nobrainer to set up with the right hardware, when there are
client machines with network or video cards that it does not like--well,
problems. Have bounced up a couple of issues. Nothing earthshattering,
but.. well, you know. (and yes, it worked fine eventually)

Are the standalones going with installed software or are we just giving
out boxes? I managed to get a couple of distros not available for
public download (Xandros, Linspire, SuSe) that we might want to play
with, and actually have evaluation versions of the latest MS stuff to
run to do a comparison.

(I figure it costs them to post it to me and to manufacture the
software, and every little bit of extra cost that MS incurs in
fulfilling an inquiry from a dead lead, well, it helps)

While the Free and free alternatives are well and good and in line with
the CIS objectives, we could also look at some of the more commercial
stuff, in the event that the schools do want to use that, and can afford
to pay for it.

Maybe Windows Terminal Server?
