Re: Burrokeet presentation

I get what Ross is saying, and to build on it a little I think the
meeting was for (or should have been for) was to determine what user
"domain" the audience to whom they are present falls into, so that the
correct use cases which involve them could be shown during the
presentation. (This to me is a logical choice since use cases are
meant to be very non-technical in nature)
However the selection of which use cases to present is the tricky part
since it makes no sense showing how the burrokeet system features
satisfy administration use cases if the audience is the teachers
(unless of course you plan to make the teachers administrators as
well).
Honestly, I vision the non-technical presentation as being mostly use
cases the burrokeet system targets, the current activities going on
with these use cases (equivalent of "how is this done currently") and
how the burrokeet system proposes to enhance or improve these.
There are, of course, the use cases which heavily depend on burrokeet
(and hence have no "manual" equivalent without burrokeet) and these
should be featured last so that the audience can see how the use of
the burrokeet system offers an improvement on current processes and
also to allow the audience to "pull" the software to them through
generated interest rather than be "pushed" by the developers.
On another note, I'm sorry I couldn't respond to the meeting call, or
be more active in general, but full time M.Sc. at UWI has taken its
toll and barely leaves me time for myself. I'll have a month or so's
break after the 17th, so hopefully I can give more input then into the
project.
