Hi Ameena

These workshops are being done by district.....by the ICT Facilitator of the Area.

And it will be initially for schools with fully functional ICT Labs.

On the other hand..a little food for taught, for the rest of you, if you have a meeting tomorrow.

The following facts were disclosed at the workshop:

The huge budget for Min of Ed this year was to facilitate
1. More Computers for more schools
2. High speed ADSL connections for all school (already started- I have it :-) )
3. Microsoft open licences for all schools and teachers (this includes OS, Office suite and
Productivity tools eg. VB)

We need to keep this in mind. These are all supose to roll out within the next 5 years to facitate
the Min of Ed Backbone infrastructure which they say is already in place.

Shiva

Hi Shiva,
Is that IT workshop for teachers throughout the country?
I have not heard anything at my school.
