Meeting review (was Re: Meeting reminder)

Present were Anil, Richjob and myself.

The meeting was conducted by using the website structure to address all 
matters.  Basic content was reviewed and some modifications made.  The 
changes will be made soon.

Major focus was given on the two main projects, Websites for Schools 
(WFS) and the Computers In Primary Schools (CIPS).

Anil and I discussed the WFS in as much detail as possible.  We will 
continue as before, i.e. initially developing a system for schools to 
easily use the Internet to produce information and not just consume.  As 
is known, we use the Burrokeet to allow people to generate their 
websites after creating their content using OpenOffice or MS Office.  As 
the Burrokeet and its supporting platforms become more advanced 
feature-wise, we hope to take advantage of those features and train 
schools to deliver learning content (notes, exams, etc) on their websites.

The CIPS project was not given much time since unfortunately neither 
Shiva or RHS were able to make it.  There were some discussions where it 
was noted that this project should not and cannot compete with the T&T 
Government's Vision 20/20 plan for schools.  We would simply lose. 
There were suggestions that the focus be shifted on the needs of the 
community-at-large.  However all this is still to be discussed at length.
