Presentation College, San Fernando

The principal of Presentation College, San Fernando called today and 
asked for assistance in fixing up the school's library with high-tech 
hardware and software.  Apparently the Ministry of Education in T&T has 
contacted schools as asked them for a Dream List of what they want. 
Maybe Shiva and Ama can talk more about it?

His requirements:

Hardware:
- About 20 computers for the school, fully loaded and as high-end as 
possible.
- Digital still cameras, digital video cameras
- Scanners, printers

Software:
- Tool to develop subject material, a.k.a. Burrokeet
- Tool to offer course material online, a.k.a. full featured LCMS which 
can use the subject material developed (i like Moodle since it can use 
Apache2)
- Tools to keep a history of students' progress, a.k.a  a feature of the 
LCMS
- Tools to allow students/teachers to create videos, etc (of school events)


Ok, so what we need is to come up with a packaged solution and send him 
a quote for him to forward to the Ministry.  Of course, being a GoRTT 
initiative, he did say that it might take a year before anything comes 
out of it.

So how do we do this?  Any ideas???  He will like to get the quotation 
early next week.
