The parliament of Macedonia (or, if you will, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia) has just agreed to change the country's name to North Macedonia, in a bid to end the long running dispute with Greece. That seems on the face of it to be a sensible decision. However, if Greece itself buries the hatchet, the way will be clear for North Macedonia to follow its insane intention of applying for membership of the collapsing EU empire. In view of the way the EU has ruined Greece, it would be a kind act on the part of the Greeks to reject the Macedonian offer and say, 'Brothers, this may seem rude, but we don't want you to go the way we've gone.'
