Instances of divine retribution in Hellenistic historiography

After spending many  hours looking for information myself, I have a
question for list members. I am looking for two or three good examples in
Hellenistic historiography of one or more deities visiting punishment upon
a person or city for impiety, wickedness, hubris, etc.later than Herodotus.
Thucycides and Polybius are not good resources. I read a work that cited
places in Xenophon's Hellenica that would have what I am after but I did
not see what I was looking for at 7.5 or 5.4.1. Perhaps I'm missing the
structure of the Hellenica. Be that as it may, I'd appreciate suggestions
for primary sources for such events. I'm not looking for secondary
literature, which is good because my search for those yielding only a book
I already own and was trying to work from. I just need two clear,
illustrative  examples. Any suggestions? I'm not unwilling to look through
the indexes of various Loeb volumes but I could burn a lot of time on works
taht are irrelevant. Most of my reading in Hellenistic historiography has
focused ont he prefaces and Lucian's On Writing History. Thanks.
