offering pits for Aphrodite?

While swotting up a chapter of Richard Neer's Greek Art and Archeology for our
Ancient Art and Architecture course (dealing with the Ludovisi throne), I see that Neer speculates that the "throne" was actually a balustrade for an offering pit dedicated to Aphrodite.  I am aware of such pits (bothroi) for Demeter (e.g.), but not for Aphrodite.  (Neer also says that her coming from the sea, Pontus, is very like coming from mother Earth, Gaia, which seems rather problematic to me.)  I am wondering whether anyone knows of offering pits dedicated to Aphrodite.  A quick Google search turned up no obvious mentions of these.
