As opposed to the author of the article, my daughter wanted to know the gender of all three of her kids and was able to do so via ultra sound. Accordingly, she did not have to put up with the nonsense the author did. However, she was pestered after the birth of her boy/girl twins with "Oh! Are they identical twins?"
