The following courses will be offered in summer 2019 at Hunter College: Classical Mythology (fully online - BOTH SECTIONS FULLY ENROLLED ALREADY) and (in person - CURRENTLY OPEN TO HUNTER'S "SUMMER'S EDGE" STUDENTS ONLY, BUT WILL OPEN TO ALL IF NOT FULLY ENROLLED) CLA 101 Greek and Latin Roots of English (in person) CLA 110 Greek Civilization (in person) CLA 201 Introduction to Classical, Near Eastern, and Egyptian Archaeology (fully online) CLA 204 Beginning Intensive Latin (in person) LAT 107 (6 credits) - Introduction to Latin in one summer. Prepares students to take intermediate Latin in the fall. Upper level BA / MA level Latin (in person) LAT 32005 (undergrad) and LAT 71005 (grad) Topic: "Natural Disasters in Roman Literature." Meets in the evening. This class, in particular, welcomes any Latin teachers who are looking to take a summer course. Students not already enrolled at Hunter apply as non-degree students.
