We will be reading Lawrence Venuti’s “Translation and the Pedagogy of
Literature” (1996) and selected chapters from *Approaches to Teaching the
Works of Ovid and the Ovidian Tradition* (ed. Weiden Boyd & Fox, 2010) that
touch on different issues of translation.
