Well, if you can use Rho as both Rho and P, I suppose spelling 'lilacs'
with a K is allowed under the rules. But wouldn't this game be more
rewarding for beginners is you played it in Greek and allowed them to
'cheat' with a pocket modern Greek dictionary, allowing a maximum 5 minutes
for each turn to avoid excessive searching? In that way they would actually
learn something more than a very inaccurate grasp of the alphabet.

By the way, I took 'kip' to be British slang for a nap, in the sense of a
short sleep.
