As a listserv “owner” I can say participation has dwindled in many fields. Oddly some “progressive” listervs at the same time seem to discourage contributions (not a way to build a movement). This has been a medium for vibrant dialogue, which now seems to have move to Facebook, which I don’t use, and Twitter, and others.

So, the action seems to have moved on.
