Greek theater cushions

Hello all.  I am seeking two things concerning the cushions supposedly 
rented (?) to theater goers in ancient Athens.

1.   Greek for the cushion?
2.   Sources, ancient or modern, that prove this is more than a 
misremembered (to quote W) bit if misinformation.
