Regardless of anyone's view of the rights and wrongs of BP, this is an
intensely stupid protest. The whole point about a Trojan Horse is that. if
you know what's inside it, you don't let it in. The British Museum is
surrounded by massive cast-iron railings. Thanks to fear of terrorism, you
can no longer stroll in through the main gate. You have to creep in through
a small postern and negotiate a long and tiresome set of zigzag barriers
before reaching a tent where you are subjected to a search. The set-up is
similar to the arrangements for admitting cattle to a slaughterhouse. It's
hard enough for a human to get in, let alone a horse.

What will happen if these idiots get enough money to make their horse is
that they will block Great Russell Street in front of the museum, causing
long tailbacks and ruining the trade of the local shops. The police will
not lift a finger against them, as they have been emasculated by political
correctness to the point of complete non-functionality, while violent crime
in the capital soars out of control.
